About Us
For the past two years, a group of hearty souls from the Lutheran church (with other denominations represented) has traveled to Africa to the small town of Mizan Teferi in southwestern Ethiopia in accordance with God’s call to share his love and to love one another. We have raised funds, prayed together and helped install FIVE water well pumps providing fresh water to THOUSANDS who would have gone without clean potable water and helped provide medical supplies to an area that sees very little of anything. We, Ethiopians and Americans, have shared, learned, hoped and grown together through our faith in Jesus and have learned a lot about each other: how we are beautifully unique and how we all have the same Faith in Jesus and Love from God! We hope to bring about another trip of learning and adventure to Ethiopia to once again forge new friendships and help bring Living Water and Fresh Water to our brothers and sisters there.
